2. In a large bowl cream together butter, both sugars, and salt until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
3. Add flour and baking soda and mix until dough is formed. Fold in the toffee bits.
4. Form 2-tablespoon sized balls of dough and place onto the baking sheet spaced evenly apart (8 per sheet).
