1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions. Add asparagus during last 4 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes until just starting to color, stirring so that garlic doesn’t burn.
3. Add clam juice and cook 1 min. Stir in drained clams, lemon juice, cherry peppers, and salt. Cook 1 min or until heated through. Stir in butter and parsley.
4. Toss pasta and asparagus with the sauce. Drizzle with olive oil if desired and serve immediately. Sprinkle with romano cheese!

1. Cook the linguine pasta in a large pot filled with salted water until al dente. Drain. Saute the garlic in the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the liquid from the clams, the white wine, and the salt. Stir everything well.
2. Bring to a boil, and then cook on medium to high heat for 10 minutes, or until the liquid is reduced by about half. (It's still going to be a little liquidy, but that's okay!)
3. Stir in the clams and parsley until they are heated through. Reduce the heat to low.
4. Add the cooked and drained linguine to the skillet. Toss the pasta over low heat for a few minutes until the pasta absorbs some of the sauce, but not all. (It will continue to absorb the sauce after it's plated.)
