A simple and easy and oh-so-good shrimp quiche. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread shrimp evenly across the bottom of the pie crust. Sprinkle cheese over the shrimp. Stir sour cream, green onions, salt and pepper into the beaten eggs; then pour mixture evenly over the shrimp and cheese.
Sprinkle bacon and veggies along the bottom of the crust. Sprinkle half the cheese. Whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and thyme. Pour egg mixture into the quiche pan. Sprinkle your low carb quiche with the remaining cheese and bake in the preheated oven.
Layer spinach and shrimp on top of the onions and sprinkle with oregano. Top with cheese. Whisk eggs, egg whites, milk, sour cream, pepper and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt in a medium bowl. Pour the mixture into the crust. Bake the quiche until puffed and firm when touched in the center, 40 to 50 minutes.
I recommend you do the crust first and then proceed to make the Lorraine quiche filling. You’ll need to cook your bacon to crisp then saute your onions, garlic in the rendered bacon fat. Once your onion and garlic are translucent, you’ll saute your mushrooms.
