Low carb yeast rolls is one of the very few low carb bread recipes where you can taste the flavor of the yeast. It’s decadent and delicious and makes a very good breakfast roll with bacon and eggs or an equally yummy herb-topped ham roll.
How to Make Low Carb Rolls. Melt mozzarella and cream cheese together. Add the cheese to a food processor and process with an egg until completely combined. Add the dry ingredients and process again. Freeze for 15 minutes, shape with oiled hands, place on a lined baking sheet and bake. It couldn’t be easier.
Prepare the ingredients: To make the yeast mixture, whisk together warm water, instant yeast and sugar in a small bowl. Wait for 5 minutes. Although this step is not necessary for this type of yeast and you can just whisk it together with flour, we find it works even better when mixed together with warm water first.
