1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
2. Allow the peas to thaw, then spread in single layer on large backing dish and thoroughly blot with clean paper towel to remove as much moisture as possible. (I put them in the oven for two minutes to dry out a little more).
3. Add thawed and dried peas to large bowl, drizzle with melted coconut oil, sprinkle with garlic salt and toss to coat, then spread back out in single layer on large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
4. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, then stir, reduce to 375 and bake additional 15 minutes or until crispy to your preference. Check every so often to make sure they don't burn. I find that you have to let them cool slightly to get the crunchiness. Enjoy!

1. The key to making crispy air-fried green peas is a lot like making crispy chickpeas, they need to be dried off, and as much moisture needs to be removed from the peas as possible.
2. Lay them out on a kitchen towel or on paper towels to allow them to dry. This will only take about 10-15 minutes.
3. Add your olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Make sure that the green peas are fully coated. (This is another key to getting really crunchy green peas)
4. Then preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, spread the peas into the air fryer basket. Set the time to 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket frequently. If you have an air fryer oven, use a pair of tongs and flip them halfway.
