These burgers and gruyere mushroom sauce is a delicious low carb dinner you can have any day of the week. Only 4.8g net carbs per huge serving. Shape your ground beef into burgers. I made 4 large ones. In a large skillet melt your butter and saute your mushrooms unitl they are brown. When the mushroms are just about done, add the garlic.
In the other skillet, add the cream cheese, cream, onion powder, thyme, salt and pepper. Once the cream cheese is melted, add the gruyere and mix well until melted.
Toss together the gruyere cheese, ham, and broccoli in the baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs, milk, and seasonings using a balloon whisk. Pour the egg mixture over the ham and gently move the broccoli and ham until the egg mixture is evenly distributed. Bake for 45 minutes or until the eggs are completely set.
Even with the Gruyere cheese sauce, it works fine because it will be heated before serving. To freeze, do the same as above with the fridge method above, but freeze instead.
