1. Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat. Add 2 teaspoons ghee and chopped cashews, almonds and raisins. Saute for a minute until nuts turn light golden and raisins plump up. Remove promptly.
2. Melt ghee and stir in saffron. Add a tablespoon of this ghee to the same skillet and add rava. Saute the rava for 5 minutes while stirring continuously. Now add desiccated coconut and continue to saute for another 2 minutes, or until rava and coconut turn light golden (not brown)
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine sautéed nuts and rava.
4. Add the remaining melted ghee with saffron (including saffron strands) and combine well, until the mix looks like wet sand.

1. Heat the ghee in a pan on medium-low heat. Add cashews and fry with stirring constantly till they get light brown in color. Drain the excess ghee and remove it to a plate.
2. In the same ghee, add raisin. Within seconds they plump up. Again drain ghee and remove it to the same plate. Keep them aside.
3. In the remaining ghee, add semolina. Roast sooji with stirring continuously on LOW-MEDIUM heat for around 8-10 minutes.- In the beginning, you will find that rava is heavy and you will have to make some effort to stir it.- Continue roasting till you get a nice aroma of sooji and it will get slight color change (NO need to brown)- Once roasted, you will find that rava is very light while stirring.
4. Now add desiccated coconut. Mix and roast for 1-2 minutes, you will get a nice toasted aroma of coconut.

2. Heat a pan on medium low heat and add the rava to it. Roast stirring intermittently for 10 mins or until you get a nice aroma of the Rava.
3. Then add the wheat flour to it and roast again for 10 mins. Make sure you roast on medium to low heat as we don't want the rava or wheat flour to turn brown in color.
4. Next add the 1/2 cup Ghee and mix well. Then add the raisins and cashews, milk and mix again.
