This Chocolate Fudge Brownie & Raspberry Trifle is layer upon layer of rich, decadent chocolate that will knock your socks off! I love trifle because of all the layers of flavor and texture. This trifle has Fudgy Brownie, Chocolate Mousse, Whipped Cream and Raspberries; all different textures and flavors that compliment each other well.
Begin layering trifle: Lay half the brownie cubes into a 4-quart glass bowl or trifle dish. Compress slightly so there are no gaps. Spread half the chocolate mousse over brownies. Top mousse with the raspberries and half the whipped cream.
Add 1½ tablespoons of raspberry coulis and smooth the surface. Top with 2 tablespoons of chocolate sauce, smooth the surface and pipe a final layer of cream cheese. Crumble the remaining brownie quarters over the top of the trifle and decorate with a raspberry.
You can use either a large trifle dish or individual glasses, as I did. To put the trifle together, start with a layer of broken brownies. Next, add a layer of chocolate mousse, then top with the whipped cream and maybe a strawberry or two. Make brownies, according to recipe directions. Make chocolate mousse, according to recipe directions.
