2. Wash the rice and drain the excess water. Then in a blender, add ginger, green chillies and coconut along with the moist rice. Grind all the ingredients into a smooth batter. Then, transfer the batter into a large bowl and add a little water to the mixture and mix it once or twice.
3. Now, add asafoetida powder, coriander leaves, cumin seeds and salt to the batter. The batter should be thin like a rava dosa batter.If you are fond of spicy food, then, you can add some finely chopped green chilies or crushed black pepper powder.
4. Take a nonstick pan and heat it on eat oil in a nonstick pan over medium flame. Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread evenly. Add oil around the edges and cook till golden brown and crisp on both sides. Remove to a plate. Serve hot with chutney or sambhar.
