Total Time: 15 minsCategory: Condiments, Dressings And Sauces, Side DishCalories: 17 per serving1. Wash the cranberries and discard any small stones or soft berries. Cut the stem and blossom end of the orange to the flesh, then quarter it and cut each quarter in half. Do not peel the orange. Discard any seeds. Roughly chop a 1 inch piece of ginger. Powder the sweetener in a coffee or spice grinder.
2. Layer the cranberries and orange pieces in the processor and add the sweetener, spice and ginger juice. (Put the chopped ginger in a garlic press and squeeze to extract as much of the juice as you can. You can't really taste it, but it surely adds to the over-all flavor.)
3. Using the pulse button, run the food processor until the cranberries and orange are chopped into roughly the same sized pieces. Taste. If you would like it sweeter, add your favorite stevia sweetener or more powdered Sukrin 1 (or Swerve Granulated). It should taste both tart and sweet.
4. Refrigerate up to two days before needing and for 5-7 days total. Makes approximately 3 cups with 1/4 cup per serving.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to cook cranberries without sugar?

Tools To Make Sugar Free Dried Cranberries

  • Large Saucepan – This one is a good size for making one batch (using 12 ounces of fresh cranberries). Use a larger pot if you double the recipe.
  • Baking Pans – These ones get constant use in my kitchen.
  • Besti Powdered Sweetener – The only one I recommend for this recipe, because it dissolves completely and tastes like sugar.

Is panera bread low carb?

Panera contains healthier ingredients than most casual dining restaurants. However, most of their meals contain grains, bread, and other starchy foods that are not low-carb. You can keep it low-carb at Panera by ordering a breakfast sandwich with meat and cheese minus the bread.

Are there any low carb?

Whiskey, vodka, brandy, gin, tequila and other pure alcohols have zero carbs and so are fine on a low-carb diet. A standard 1.5 oz jigger of these spirits, without any mixer, contains on average about 100 calories. Don’t add juice, soft drinks, or other sweeteners like sweet cream.

Which are the low carb desserts to buy?

  • Lily’s Dark Chocolate – you can buy bars or baking chips in Whole Foods, on Amazon, or from Netrition
  • ChocZero – they have a great range of delicious chocolate bark, squares, and more. Check them out on Amazon!
  • ChocoPerfection Bars – I’m a huge fan of their variety pack!
