For Louisiana rub: 1 Smoked Paprika-1 teaspoon. 2 Dried oregano-1/2 teaspoon. 3 Cayenne pepper -1/2 teaspoon. 4 Cumin powder -1/2 teaspoon. 5 Brown sugar-1 1/2 teaspoon. 6 Onion powder-1 teaspoon. 7 Garlic powder-1 teaspoon. 8 Black pepper-1/2 teaspoon. 9 Salt-1/2 teaspoon or to taste. 10 Lemon juice- 2-3 tablespoons, optional.
In a medium bowl combine all the ingredients for the rub: smoked paprika, dried oregano, cayenne pepper , cumin powder, brown sugar,onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper and salt. Add the dry rub to the baked wings and mix to evenly coat the wings.
Whisk together all dry rub ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Add chicken wings to a large bowl. Drizzle with vegetable oil and toss to coat. Add the dry rub mixture to the chicken and massage it into the wings. Place the wings onto a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes 400 ºF or until fully cooked and crispy.
