2. Taking portions of lamb in your palm, form either two half-pound or four quarter-pound patties. Use your thumb to form a small indentation in the center of each patty.
3. Over medium heat (preferably in a cast-iron skillet), cook the burgers for about 15 minutes, flipping every 2-3 minutes for even cooking. Burgers are done when they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. When burgers are done, squeeze the remaining lime juice over them.
4. As your burgers are cooking, slice the cucumber, onion, and tomato.
