DirectionsStep1Preheat the oven to broil. Place the whole jalapeños on a baking sheet then drizzle with olive oil. Broil for 5-6 minutes turning halfway through. Watch the jalapenos closely, they may broil quicker depending on your oven.Step2Place the roasted jalapeños in a ziplock bag to "sweat" for 5 minutes.Step3Remove the skin and cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise. Discard the seeds.Step4In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, green onion, and garlic powder.Step5Spread the cream cheese mixture on one side of all 4 slices of bread.Step6Top two of the slices with shredded cheese, and the other two slices with bacon and roasted jalapeños.Step7Carefully close the sandwich and butter the top slice of bread. Add a sprinkle of garlic salt and Italian seasoning if you desire.Step8Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the buttered side down on the skillet and quickly butter and season the topside.Step9Cook for about 4 minutes per side. Turn the heat down if the outside starts to brown too quickly.     1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Stuff each jalapeno half with approximately 1 ounce of cream cheese. Bake stuffed jalapenos on cookie sheet for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven.
    3. Place 1 slice each cheddar cheese on 2 bread slices. Place 1 slice each Monterey Jack on 2 bread slices. Each sandwich will have both kinds of cheese. Slice the cooked stuffed jalapenos into bite size pieces. Divide the jalapeno slices between the 2 slices of bread with cheddar. Add the 4 slices bacon to the slices of bread with Monetery Jack. If desired add chopped cilantro to one side. Combine the slices of bread to form 2 sandwiches.
    4. Top each sandwich with several pats of butter. Place in skillet over medium low heat butter side down. Top with more pats of butter. Now grill each side until lightly browned. Cheese should be melted and gooey.
