Gordan Ramsay's fried fish batter recipe has the usual ingredients you would think would be in a batter — flour, beer, and baking powder — but then he surprises us and adds a little curry powder to his floury mixture.

In a "Ramsay in 10 Live" video posted to Youtube, Ramsay calls his "fish and chips in 10 minutes" recipe a "household staple."
