Heat oil in a pressure cooker – add the items under ‘to temper’ then add onion saute till golden brown. Then add tomato and saute till it shrinks and raw smell leaves.
1 Heat oil or ghee in a cooking vessel, add the mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add bengal gram, black gram, curry leaves and saute them till the dals turn red and a nice aroma emanates the kitchen. 3 Add the chopped tomatoes and saute on medium heat for 4 mts. further add 1 tomato, 2 tbsp carrot, ¼ potato, 2 tbsp peas and 5 beans. also, add ¼ tsp turmeric and ¾ tsp salt. cover and cook for 5 minutes. now add 1 cup broken wheat rava (bansi rava) and roast on low flame for 5 minutes. pour 3 cup boiling water on roasted rava keeping the flame on low. cover and cook for 2 minutes on high flame.
