2. Preheat the broiler. Line a baking sheet with foil.
3. Place your your Hatch green chile pepper on the the foil. Once the broiler is ready place peppers in oven and Broil 3-4 min each side. Or until skin in browned. Remove from oven, set aside.
4. Turn the oven down to 350F.

2. Stir together butter, cottage cheese, jack cheese, flour, baking powder, chiles, and salt. Whisk in eggs and whisk until combined (mixture will be lumpy).
3. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until browned and set in the middle. Cool 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
4. Best served fresh, but it can also be sliced and stored in individual containers and frozen. Defrost in microwave.
