DirectionsStep1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 18x13'' pan.Step2Add water butter cocoa powder to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring mixture to a boil.Step3Meanwhile, in a separate bowl mix together the flour, sugar baking soda and salt.Step4In another small bowl mix together the sour cream, eggs and vanilla.Step5Add sour cream/egg mixture to the flour mixture and mix until combined.Step6Once the chocolate mixture in the saucepan in boiling, remove it from heat and pour it into the batter. Mix until combined and no lumps remain.Step7Pour mixture into prepared pan and smooth with a spatula to make sure it is dispersed in an even layer.Step8Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until set (mine is usually done around 15 minutes).Step9When the cake is about half-way through cooking, prepare the frosting.Step10Add milk, cocoa and butter to a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil.Step11Once boiling, remove it from the heat and stir in powdered sugar. I like to beat the mixture with my hand-held mixer to get rid of any lumps.Step12Pour hot icing over hot cake. Use a spatula to spread it evenly over the cake.     1. Preheat oven to 375 F degrees. Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper.
    2. Mix all the cake ingredients together on medium speed for 2 minutes. If you don't have Betty Crocker's super moist chocolate cake mix, make sure you follow the instructions on the back of the box.
    3. Bake the cake for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. If you stick a toothpick in the center of the cake it should come out clean.
    4. While the cake is baking, bring butter, cocoa, and cream to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla and confectioners’ sugar. Use while still warm. Remove cake from pan and remove the parchment paper from the cake. Place the cake back in the pan and pour warm chocolate icing over the cake. Let cool completely.
