3. Add the broccoli to the sausage and cook for 6-8 minutes until it begins to become tender but not mushy. If it finishes before the pasta, just remove it from the heat.
4. Before draining the pasta, reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking liquid. This will create the sauce.
