1. Start by melting your butter in a saucepan. I start at medium heat and adjust from there.When the butter has melted you can stir in the brown sugar alternative and then stir in the heavy cream. Stir this while it cooks.After a minute you can lower the temperature to low and continue to cook for another minute or so until the ingredients appear to be blended together.
2. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.
3. Next, add the vanilla extract to the mixing bowl and then beat in the sugar free powdered sugar. This works best when you add a half or third of the powdered sugar at a time, beating between additions.
4. Beat until you reach your desired consistency. If the frosting seems to be too thick, you can add additional cream.
