This delicious low carb barbecue dry rub is one of the seasoning recipes from my cookbook – Craveable Keto. It is fantastic on ribs, chicken, steak, pork chops, or even prawns. Plus, it’s super quick and easy to whip up and without all the additives and sugar that you would typically find in a store-bought mix.
For that reason, I decided to post this Keto barbecue seasoning blend that I make and use at home all the time. A sublime combination of sweetener and spices, this keto barbecue seasoning tastes equally amazing on beef, pork, and chicken.
It literally takes just minutes to mix together and then store for whenever the need arises! I love barbecue, but so many of the store bought bbq seasoning brands contain sugar and fillers that add quite a lot of carbs.
Mix the spices carefully and pour into a small jar. Spices are sensitive to both light and heat, so store the jar in a cool and dark place. Tip! You get more aroma if you use whole, dried spices—seeds and leaves—and grind right before use. Try this with the pepper, cumin, nutmeg, and thyme.
