Grimoire is one of four unlockable Mini-games in Cookie Clicker. It allows you to cast 9 different types of spells, ones that can give you cookies, give you golden cookies, decrease upgrade costs and more! Grimoire can be unlocked by spending 1 sugar lump on Wizard Towers. Sugar lumps will appear after baking 1 billion cookies.
With the Grimoire mini game that is tied to the Wizard tower, there are several spells that can be cast. Each of these spells have a cost that use your magic. This cost is a % of your maximum magic plus a flat rate. According to the Cookie Clicker wiki, there are optimal max magic amounts for the shortest time to being able to cast the spell again.
Spontaneous Edifice The favorite spell of the Cookie Bourgeois. Is it insanely expensive to use this spell, and for most of the game will be literally impossible. Obtaining 100 max mana seems nigh undoable. The easiest way to do it would be at ~400 Towers and a lot of levels.
So, as I’m sure everyone on this sub knows by now, Cookie Clicker recently added two new minigame: the Pantheon and the Grimoire. The Pantheon is for both idle, active and hybrid playstyles, and to be honest I think it’s pretty balanced right now. Each Spirit has positive an negative aspects, but they’re all relatively good in their own way.
