While playing Cookie Clicker, you may have come across Golden Cookies that appear at certain intervals in the game. These cookies tend to disappear within around 13 seconds of appearing on your screen. Clicking on them will give you different types of cookie production boosts.
The upgrade for 77 golden cookie clicks doubles the effect of the cookie. When you click a number of golden cookies you will get an upgrade option of things like Lucky Day, and Serendipity and so on, those upgrades will make golden cookies appear more often and some upgrades make the effects of the golden cookie last longer!
All cookies will be wrath cookies and 30% of Building Special will be debuff. As of version 1.0466, this is how the game picks a golden cookie effect: Add Frenzy and Lucky to a pool. 3% chance to add Chain to the list, if at least 100,000 cookies have been baked in this game. 10% chance to add Click Frenzy to the pool.
