Low Carb Soup Recipes can be hard to develop because we have to leave out all of the "good stuff" that most soups contain. This includes thickeners like flour and corn starch and bulking ingredients like pasta and potatoes. With a few simple tweaks and easy to find ingredients, you can make almost any soup recipe low carb.
If you would like a completely smooth keto tomato soup, you can carefully use an immersion blender to blend the soup. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve. Please be aware that using a different brand of marinara would change the carb count. I use Rao's because it has no added sugar like most marinaras.
Canned tomato soup is filled with ingredients that are not keto friendly such as sugar and corn starch. Most are around 20 carbs per serving. Now this keto tomato soup is one of my favorite soups and I could eat it multiple times a week. Thanks to this easy recipe, having tomato soup on the keto diet is possible and it's only 6 net carbs!

If you have a nut allergy, the unsweetened almond milk could be swapped with coconut milk, or regular dairy milk if you don’t mind the extra carbs.
