5. Meanwhile, in another pan, heat oil. Saute onions and cumin seeds until onions turn golden brown in color. Mix in green chillies, curry leaves, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp red chili powder and saute the ingredients.
6. Once the dal is cooked, add red chili powder and garam masala along with dry mango powder. Then, add the onion mixture.
