1. Preheat oven to 325°.
2. In a 6 qt dutch oven, heat the oil on medium heat. Brown the stew meat on medium heat, until just browned but not cooked through. Season with salt and pepper as it cooks.
3. Add the remainder of the ingredients to the dutch oven.
4. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove from the heat, cover, and place in the oven. Braise (bake) the stew for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

3. Let dough sit at room temperature for anywhere from 8-24 hours. Dough should have bubbles visible and rise a bit. This does not seem to really rise that much so don’t expect it to “double”.
4. When you decide the dough is ready, preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Put your Dutch oven, uncovered, (I put the lid on the shelf below) into the preheated oven for at least 30 minutes.
