Sprinkle rice mix on bottom of buttered 9×13 inch pan. Combine soup, seasoning packet from rice and water. Place chicken on top of rice and pour soup mixture over all.

Unfortunately, Uncle Ben’s Long Grain and Wild Rice seasoning packet has gluten in it. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat; drain off any excess grease. Combine the beef and onions with the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, water, and rice and mix well.
Add wild rice mix along with it's seasoning packet, long grain rice and mushrooms and simmer on low, covered 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove chicken from pot and shred with two forks, return to pot, add sour cream and more water if too thick, adjust salt and pepper to taste if needed and serve.
