You know what they say, “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” This Low Carb Ham and Cheese Crustless Quiche is a super easy recipe that is sure to start your day off right. It is a mixture of eggs and heavy cream packed full of cheese, ham, and broccoli that bakes into a flavorful, fluffy crustless quiche.
Place ham, onions, broccoli, and cheese in a greased 9-inch pie plate or quiche pan. Pour the egg mixture over the meat and veggies. Place in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until you can jiggle the pan and the quiche doesn’t shake in the center. Remove and let cool for about 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
The key to this low-carb quiche recipe is that the eggs pack it full of protein. When you add the cheese, you are giving yourself a low-carb and high-protein meal. The cream cheese gives the quiche the perfect texture and increases the fat content too. So, if you need to eat more fat to stay in ketosis, this is a great recipe to use!
Shred cheddar cheese and chop the ham. Add the mix-ins to the pie plate. Whisk eggs, seasonings, & heavy cream, and pour over the ham mixture. Bake the crustless quiche for about 40 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center of it comes out clean. As this is a quiche with no crust, be sure to grease the pan well so it doesn’t stick.
