1. In a decent sized cup, weigh out the required sugar.
2. Heat some water until it is a few degrees hotter than your intended temperature range.
3. Add hot water into the cup with sugar until you have roughly 50ml (or grams, since water is 1:1 gram to milliliter equivalent). Stir to dissolve the sugar.
4. Using an instant read thermometer, continually check for when the water temperature falls within the range of ideal temperature on your yeast. For my yeast, it was 108°-110°F (42°-43°C). Once within range, add the yeast and stir to ensure the yeast is all in the water. Set aside for 10 minutes.

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Microwave the mozzarella and cream cheese in a large bowl until soft and pliable, about 30 seconds. Add egg, almond meal, oregano, and basil and blend well into a dough ball. Press into a circle or square shaped pizza on a parchment lined baking sheet sprayed with a thin coating of olive oil or coconut oil. Sprinkle garlic salt over surface of pizza crust. Pierce surface with fork to prevent rising of the crust while baking.
2. Bake crust in oven for 8-10 mins. Pierce more holes with fork if bubbles form. Flip pizza crust over. Bake another 2-4 minutes. Do not over bake as it will dry out!
3. Add your pizza sauce and toppings, pop back in oven for 4-5 more minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

1. In a large bowl, combine your flour, yeast, salt, and garlic powder. Mix together.
2. Pour 3/4 cup warm water into the bowl, and use a silicone spatula to mix it all up until there is no powder left. Add another 2 tbsp warm water, then use your hands to incorporate everything. It's okay if the dough is a bit sticky!
3. Generously flour a clean surface and add your dough. Add some flour to your hands to help with the stickiness as well. Knead your dough until it becomes nice and smooth- this should take 5-8 minutes. You can use a stand mixer with a dough attachment, but I like to just use my hands.
4. Use your palm to press and roll the dough, fold it towards you, and repeat.
