This low carb, sweet & spicy candied pecan recipe comes together quickly and has only a few ingredients. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3: melt the butter, mix the ingredients & bake.
Directions. Stir pecans and butter into the syrup and continue to cook until solid crystals of candy begin to form on the side of the pot, about 30 minutes. Remove from heat and stir vanilla and almond extracts into candy. Pour candy into prepared dish and let cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Roast the pecans for ten minutes at 300 degrees. Combine sweetener, butter, cinnamon, heavy cream, and vanilla extract into a skillet or saucepan and stir over medium heat until sweetener is completely dissolved. Let mixture cook until well thickened; be sure to stir constantly to avoid burning. Add in roasted pecans.
In a small bowl, whisk together egg white and vanilla extract until it's foamy. Pour the mixture over the nuts and stir to coat all the nuts. In a medium bowl, combine Besti Brown and cinnamon.
