KFC Zinger Burger or Chicken Burger is the perfect fried chicken sandwich with an added “Zing!” for lovers of a little extra heat. Crispy chicken thighs are balanced by a creamy burger sauce, placed on a toasted brioche bun. This copycat recipe is going to be your most requested meal.
You can find our recipe for the KFC zinger sauce here. Prepare your chicken breasts by slicing them if they are too large. Then marinate the chicken breasts with the pepper, salt, mustard or all spice powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Leave the chicken over night or at least 4 hours.
Coat well and then fry by laying away in vegetable oil at 180c for approx 8 minutes. Remember to turn half way for even cooking. Meanwhile toast a brioche bun, spread with mayo some lettuce leaves, a piece of breast, a cheese slice, then the top of the bun. I created this Zinger Burger recipe, as the KFC burger has always been a favourite of mine.
Slice the buns in half and lightly toast, then stack the final burger, with the lettuce at the top, then the chicken and finally the mayonnaise or KFC zinger sauce. Add sliced American cheese if you fancy a cheesy zinger. Be the first to leave a comment. Don’t be shy.
