They work great as a sandwich substitute and yes – if you’re on the road, they’re quite the bomb as well. Make “keto bread” sandwiches, wrap them up in foil and you’re ready to go.
Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and a low carb sweetener to the basic chaffle recipe. Cook chaffles as directed and serve with whipped cream and sugar free chocolate syrup or melted dark chocolate. Make enough chaffles to last the week and store them in the refrigerator between sheets of parchment paper.
