Jollibee Peach Mango Pie is a super delicious dessert from Jollibee, it has a crunchy crust with sweet peach and mango filling. To make the filling, heat a pan over medium heat. Combine the peach, mango, syrup and sugar. Cook for 2 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Add the salt and cinnamon.
In a medium saucepan, combine mango, peaches, granulated sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, lemon juice, and salt. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring often. Bring to a boil and lower heat to simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened and slightly reduced. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
* Optional, but highly recommended: Freeze the pies at this point for at least 1 hour to firm up. Deep fry the frozen pies for about 3-5 minutes, or until the outside is nicely golden-browned and the pie dough is completely cooked. Let cool slightly and serve the peach mango pie warm!
The biggest difference between the two is that Jollibee’s pie is deep fried while McDonalds bakes theirs. Apparently McDonald’s used to fry theirs as well but I have never tried them myself.
