Cranberry relish is a Thanksgiving classic, and this Ocean Spray Cranberry Orange Relish is especially delicious. It's made with cranberries, oranges, sugar, and orange juice, and it's perfect for serving alongside our Dutch Oven Turkey Breast, Air Fried Turkey Breast, or Maple Bourbon Glazed Ham. Plus, it's really easy to make!
DIRECTIONS. Place half the cranberries and half the orange slices in food processor container. Process until mixture is evenly chopped. Transfer to a bowl. Repeat with remaining cranberries and orange slices. Stir in sugar. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
Combine the cranberries, water, Besti, and orange zest in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a gentle simmer. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the cranberries pop and a sauce forms. Remove from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract.
No one will guess it’s a low sugar cranberry sauce, where the only sugars come from the cranberries. Some so-called healthy cranberry sauce recipes add orange juice, but this actually adds a lot of sugar. And, it’s totally unnecessary to get that hint of orange flavor.
