Dutch Oven/Oven – Using a dutch oven is my favorite way to cook a keto chuck roast. It’s pretty self-sufficient too once you get it going. First, sear the keto roast on the stove in the Dutch oven and then use the same pot to bake it in. It has a great lid to hold in the steam which cooks the veggies and makes the meat tender.
It is cut into slices that are typically one to three inches thick—in other words, like a steak—though you get that classic pot roast taste. While it is flavorful, chuck steak can be tough.
