Transfer this mixture to the large mixing bowl that contains the shredded chicken and blend the ingredients well. You can add any optional chopped pepper at this time. Then transfer to the prepped baking dish.
4. Top the casserole with the shredded cheese and chopped bacon. Bake the casserole for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese has fully melted.
