Fall is finally here and I have a new favorite alcoholic drink! It’s called a caramel apple cocktail. It’s like if you went to the apple orchard and got a sweet apple on a stick….but it’s liquid. In your glass. I found the simply apple pure pressed juice at Target and the caramel vodka at my liqueur store.
Add apple cider vinegar and caramel syrup to a 16 ounce or larger mug. Pour spiced hot water over vinegar. Stir to blend. For better flavor, add in your preferred low carb sweetener and a dash of ground cinnamon. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, whipped cream, and drizzle of additional syrup if desired.
But don’t be sad, there are a ton of recipes for low carb caramel sauce on the internet that use erythritol, Toroni Syrups, honey or coconut sugar. What’s special about this recipe is that it can be easily scaled and it’s pretty flexible.
