STEP 1: Place the ground beef in a large mixing bowl. STEP 2: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. STEP 3: Gently mix the spices into the ground beef. Be careful not to overmix the meat, because that can lead to your burgers falling apart while cooking.
Place the burger patty in a skillet and about 1 tbsp of water into the pan. Set a lid on top of the pan in order for the water to steam the burger. Let steam for about 5 minutes. Grill – Set the grill to medium heat and place the patties on the preheated grill. After about 2 minutes flip them over and heat for another 2 minutes or so.
Mexican Burger – Add 1 tsp of taco seasoning. Replace the cheddar cheese with American, pepper jack, provolone, blue cheese, or your favorite. Instead of using hamburger buns replace them with low carb hamburger buns, English muffins, ciabatta, or your favorite bread. The secret to the best juicy burger recipe is to use nice fatty beef!
[TIPS] If you can’t afford to splurge on the beef, add 2 tablespoons of bacon grease or olive oil to your beef – it really makes the burgers juicy and taste nicer. This trick also gives a little more moisture to grass-fed beef which can sometime be a little lean.
