Using the same recipe, put 1 3/4 C warm water and 1 tsp salt in the bread pan then add 5 C Einkorn flour and 3/4 tsp quick yeast. Put pan into machine, set machine on Rapid White, 2# loaf and dark crust. Turn it on. Mine has a beeper that sounds toward the end of first mixing. I pause it and mix in whatever dry flour hasn’t blended.
When baking with einkorn, adjustments must be made to the ratios of flour, water, and yeast. The kneading and proofing times must be reduced, and this creates the need for a custom cycle on your machine. For those that do not have a custom cycle on your machine, please check your manuals to choose the cycle closest to the times we recommend.
