Mix sugar and cinnamon together. Cut biscuits in half. Roll each biscuit half in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place in a greased dish (square or rectangle--I used one size smaller than a 9x13). You can crowd them together; they will bake up nice and fluffy.
Even though they are low in carbs, these biscuits are still really good! These biscuits are great to eat all by themselves. However, they could also be enjoyed with gravy or even with a bit of sugar free jelly on top. I will be using these biscuits as part of another recipe coming up. That recipe is for a Sugar Free Monkey Bread.
1 Preheat your oven to 350 and prep your baking sheet or pan for nonstick. 2 In a mixing bowl, mix together the Carbquik, heavy cream, and water. ... 3 Brush the biscuits with the melted butter and bake for 12-15 minutes or until they begin to brown.
Also, these are easily customizable to infuse some good flavor. Considering mixing in cinnamon and nutmeg around the holidays, OR tossing in garlic, dill and/or chives for a more savory biscuit. There are a lot of ways to manipulate the flavor while maintaining the low-carb macronutrient ratio.
