Recipe 1. The original Chex mix recipe Heat oven to very slow (250 degrees F). Melt butter in a shallow pan over low heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt. Add Chex and nuts. mix over low heat until all pieces are coated. Heat in oven 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes. Spread out on absorbent paper to cool.
