The blank recipe templates that are edited with Microsoft Word or PDF have two recipe cards per page. The recipe card maker (see above) prints one card per page (4″x6″) or on standard paper (8.5″x 11″). If you want to create sturdy recipe cards then print on cardstock. If not, use standard printing paper.
The 3x5” card is the standard card for most of the last 100 years. (Our own 3x5 recipe cards can be found here.) The old recipe card boxes they fit into were designed for America’s small kitchens.
