This is an easy recipe for pan fried chickpeas. Seasoned with paprika, fresh parsley, lemon juice and garlic this nutritious snack can be enjoyed in so many ways! In a skillet/frying pan, heat the oil. Add cooked and drained chickpeas and roast until it turns brown-ish.
Recipe Preparation. Combine paprika and cayenne in a small bowl and set aside. Heat oil in a 12" skillet over medium-high heat. Working in 2 batches, add chickpeas to skillet and sauté, stirring frequently, until golden and crispy, 15–20 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer chickpeas to paper towels to drain briefly. Place in a medium bowl.
Cook the chickpeas for about 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy. While they’re cooking mix together chili powder, garlic salt, onion powder, paprika and cumin in a bowl and set aside. After chickpeas are done cooking, toss in spices and sprinkle with lime juice.
