A typical low carb diet allows for somewhere between 20-60 grams of carbohydrates each day. Low carb protein balls are not only easy to make but they become a healthy source of energy that is perfect for any time of the day. Those are the times where a little bit of something tasty and low carb, but still healthy and energy-boosting is called for.
Then surrounding your protein with high nutrient foods such as fruit, vegetables, beans and seeds. You should also avoid any proteins that are deep fried and any salads that are drowned in loads of sauces which can be very high in sugar.
I’m not one, who enjoys cooking but making these babies is quick and easy and basically if I can do it then so can you. All you need to a mixing bowl, some delicious protein powder like (proto whey), peanut butter, some healthy carbs like oat or coconut flour and you’re basically good to go.
