This ladies finger curry is a delicious recipe of sauteed okra or bhindi in a tangy onion tomato gravy. Saved! First rinse 250 grams okra (bhindi) very well in running water a few times.
How to make bhindi ki sabji Pour oil to a pan and heat it. Add in cumin and garlic. Saute garlic just for 30 seconds. Next add in onions and fry until slightly golden. Add chopped bhindi. Mix and fry on a medium flame until the stickiness goes off. Next sprinkle salt, turmeric, red chili powder and garam masala as well.
Thinly slice onions. Wash, peel the skin and cut potatoes into medium sized pieces. Heat 1-1 1/2 tbsp of oil and saute lady’s finger adding a little salt (uncovered) until they brown slightly. Keep it aside. In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add cumin seeds, when it sizzles, add sliced onions and green chilli.
