Quick and so ridiculously easy, this mix only requires three added ingredients: unsalted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. The package claims one mix yields 15 cookies, but I baked 48. Impress your guests at your next party by sticking these bad boys in the oven. We promise, they're sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

write a review Description A chocolate lover’s chocolate chip cookie. These cookies actually have more chocolate by volume than they do cookie dough! While these aren’t chocolate chip cookies to make on a tight budget, these Jacques Torres cookies are in a category of their own. Ingredients 2 cups Minus 2 Tablespoons Cake Flour
Filled with big puddles of chocolate and chilled for optimal texture and flavor, Jacques Torres Chocolate Chip Cookies may very well be the ultimate chocolate chip cookie! I’m not a fan of fussy recipes. I like to keep things as simple as possible.
Next Torres adds his dry ingredients. He sifts together cake flour, bread flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and adds it to the butter and egg mixture.
I hate to be predictable, but I have to say these cookies are excellent. The large discs of chocolate combine with the cookie dough to create a wonderfully distinctive texture that feels like it’s part chocolate bar, part cookie. It makes them taste richer and more indulgent.
The best combination I've found (given the limits of what's available in my local supermarket) is 2/3 Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate, 1/3 Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate and King Arthur flour. Made with these ingredients, the cookies are absolutely delicious and come out thicker and richer than with Nestle chocolate chips.
