Preheat your oven to 350°F. Start off setting a cast iron skillet to heat up over a medium flame. When it's almost smoking, cook your sausage links until they're almost thoroughly cooked. While they're cooking, slice your mushrooms and onion. When the sausages are almost done, take them out of the skillet.
After the pork is no longer pink, add half of the sliced cabbage to the skillet along with the spices and seasonings. Cover and cook for 7 - 10 minutes. Add the remaining cabbage to the skillet, stir well, cover, and cook for an additional 5 - 7 minutes, and then it's time to eat!!
