Reviews: 7Calories: 192 per servingCategory: Saving Money1. Add the 2lbs of beef to a pot with about 2 cups of water. Put the stove on low and keep breaking up the pieces with a potato masher until the beef is cooked through. (If you stop too early, they can reform to bigger clumps!) When done, throw off the excess fat.
2. Season the way you like it with salt, black pepper, garlic, cumin, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. (The cumin and chili powder are the main ingredients) I love spicy foods so I add lots of black pepper, cayenne pepper, and crushed red pepper.
3. Add a cup of water then stir in the tomato paste.
4. Throw in the diced onions and drained beans.
