Because the rice is already cooked, you can make this crab fried rice in about 10 minutes or less if you don’t mind some mess. The secret of this fried rice isn’t the rice or even the chunky chunks of delicious crab meat, it’s the Chinese five spice seasoning.
Heat the butter and oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until the butter melts. Add the minced vegetables. Saute until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Add the crab meat and House Seasoning. Cook until the crab meat has browned, about 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, add mayonnaise, eggs, crab meat, seasonings, and ⅔ of the shredded cheese. Add the fried onion and celery. Stir to combine and season to taste. Add the mixture to the baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
