1. Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add one tablespoon butter, reserving the other tablespoon for later.
2. When butter has melted and stops bubbling, add shrimp to pan, spreading them to make one layer.
3. Allow shrimp to cook until the first side is slightly brown, then turn to brown the other side.
4. When shrimp have browned on the second side and are opaque all the way through, remove them from pan to a plate, using a slotted spoon.

1. Bring a Pot of water to boil with some Kosher Salt. Add the pasta and cook it until it turns Al Dente. Drain the water and keep the Pasta aside. You can store about 1 cup of the pasta water to make the sauce.
2. Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and Olive oil.Heat some butter in a Pan, and once it gets melted, add the Cajun Spiced Shrimp to it and cook until it turns golden brown on both sides. Fry the Shrimp over a low flame so that they get cooked while they are being fried and are evenly golden brown in color. If you have a lot of Shrimp, fry them in batches so that they get evenly browned and your Pan is not over-crowded.Once the Shrimp gets fried, take it out on a clean plate and keep aside.
3. Now, in the same Pan, add the Heavy Cream along with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Scrape the sides of the skillet so that no food particle is stuck to the bottom or sides of the Pan. Cook it over a low flame until it comes to a slow boil.Once it comes to a boil, add the Pasta and the Shrimp. Add some fo the leftover Pasta water and mix well.
4. Your Cajun Shrimp Pasta is ready. Garnish with some freshly chopped basil leaves and serve hot!
