The best meat to use in this beef and pork burger recipe is regular ground chuck for the beef and regular ground pork. Don’t buy the lean ground for either. And don’t get ground sausage for the pork. You want plain ground pork.
Making burgers doesn’t have to be a big production. After all, it’s just ground beef with some flavourings, not Beef Wellington, so just relax and make a few burgers. In this mix I used 500 grams each of beef and pork, this can be adjusted whatever way you want.
Prep: Preheat grill and clean the grate. Method: Break up the ground beef and evenly distribute the Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning and olive oil if using). Mix gently with your hands to distribute the seasoning and form into three balls. Gently press/pat into patties or use a burger press like I have pictured.
